Our philosophy of treatment involves four areas.
The first area we evaluate is your TMJs (temporomandibular joints). Comfortable and stable TMJs are critical in developing a stable bite.
The second area we address is the relationship between the TMJs and the bite. The bite should be in sync with fully seated TMJs for maximum comfort and stability.
The bone and gum tissues (the periodontium) comprise the third area we address. Healthy bone and gum are essential to provide stable, comfortable support of the teeth.
Finally, we address the teeth themselves, assuring that they demonstrate the beauty, comfort, and longevity we seek.
In each area we look for signs of instability or deterioration. The treatment we recommend to you is intended to create a completely stable dentition.
